  • This controversy will never die ever since Mav started this.

What's been seen can never been unseen no matter how much or how logical the evidence given by both party is. There will always be different opinions regardless of the evidence.

    Just sad to see.

Only time will tell now once he plays at LAN.

    Good Luck.
  • Only time will tell now once he plays at LAN.

Now everyone will be expecting to see him 20bomb every half at lan, which will be extremely hard. When he doesn't do it, he will be hackusated yet again. Almost every aspect of the dot theory has been proven wrong yet because he is better than 98% of this community people still think he cheats.

"face it, maveloff will never be even half as good as famous" -youtube

As Erick stated in another thread, he has to be close to being the best crossfire player in the world. No one in this community can hold a candle to famous.

    lol .

Why? It's pretty likely that he did cheat but it's impossible to prove it.

How can you conclude someone is pretty likely to cheat without proving it?
  • How can you conclude someone is pretty likely to cheat without proving it?

    Sorry, worded it wrong.

All I mean is that it's possible that he could have been cheating.
  • the amount of bad thinking done by all of you is ridiculous.

    1. official rulings trump EVERYTHING according to the rules of logic, unless there is some history of deceit (there isn't).

    2. confirmation bias. learn about it; it's a fallacy.

"oh the evidence is inconclusive. he was probably cheating, i dont think the evidence was inconclusive". LOL WHAT?! sheer stupidity

"oh z8 had a lot at stake to let evidence slide". LOL WHAT?! theyd look 100x more ridiculous if they didnt own up to even a shred of evidence and allow the second place team to go

"oh lan, well see then and then we can talk" LOL WHAT?! totes different game dumbasses.

"idc i know he cheats" shut the FLUFF up you biased IMBECILE.

but go on, bash my post. bash famous, bash z8. ignore your bad logic and bad thinking. go ahead and make fools of your inability to admit you were wrong
  • and can you answer me what is that?

    G4Box Hack Team Investigation

    Hack Team History
G4Box has had a dedicated hack team for CrossFire North America for over 1 year. Prior to that, we have had anti hacking measures built in to the other jobs here at the office.

In the far past we all had to be jack-of-all trades. Now because we have expanded teams and a more clear direction in our working environment we can dedicated personnel to the anti-hack effort.

The goal of the hack team is to find, test and report working hacks to Wiselogic (X-Trap) and Smilegate (HGWC and CrossFire).

Each day we send a report with the working hacks and then each day both x-trap and hgwc get updated and hacks then get blocked. This window has been shortened to less than 12 hours at this point in time.

This process controls the majority of our auto-ban system. And we've seen great success in that. Coupled with changes to how accounts are made we've seen a reduction of hacking across the board. Please note that we still remain vigilant in continuing to reduce that number even further.

Hack Team Investigation of a "red dot radar hack"
In the past code has been released for a potential ESP hack that shows enemy positions on a radar. This code has been reported to the developers and as such is raw and unverified to be functional.

In addition to that the hack CF PRO, which has many different variations of the same base code, and which is detected by X-Trap and banned for contains a 2D radar function which shows enemy and friendly locations.

However this function within this hack requires that the hack menu must be active in order for it to display those positions. The colors that are typically used are Green and Blue to denote friend and enemy. This was confirmed and tested and as mentioned, most versions of CF Pro are detected and picked up with auto banning.

O MY GOD... this radar hack does exist by watching this videos ,, i hope every fanboy of famous watch this ....how on earth z8games hack team didnt knew this radar hack exist !!!! I knew its something was wrong...at first watching mav videos about the red dot theory . I thought he was making fool out of himself because most of us did not saw a single red dot in the map ...but after watching this video now i know what mav was trying to say.... pff mav was right from the beginning yooohooo.. Now we all know radar hack exist ... By all due respect GM saidin and z8games hack team should personally apologize to maverick and reconsider opening the case as soon as possible ...AND this time if famous is found guilty of using radar hack ...Z8games should send fghammertime to CHINA ...

    Yes we can.

    http://forum.z8games.com/showpost.php?p=3583393&postcount=38

The conclusion left at 2:40+ in this video is that a player can hide a particular hack from bandicam and have it show up on live to the player. Thus it would explain the "red dots" on the webcam recording.

We can explain that by the following. The hack is not hidden from Bandicam, it is in fact shown by looking at the Chevron which marks the player. Had the "red dots" been as small as they were, they would not have shown up on the webcam recording at all, and if they were larger then we likely would have seen more of an indication on the chevron/player marker that it was non standard.

Taking in to account that it's pretty inconclusive with the video, we have clearly shown that this particular hack example does not get around bandicam as originally suggested.

Since the route taken by the accuser is one to immediately believe any and all proof "guilty before proven innocent", we are taking the route that we have been able to discredit one theory which in turn should discredit the other theory.

So far in all the ESP hacks we've seen there has been some type of visual modification to the "center" of the radar. The ESP ones that can be resized and placed over top of the radar in game clearly show that there is additional elements. In addition to that, the resizing of the 'dot' can also show inaccurate information if the map isn't placed right, or the dots are sized up.

To be able to see the "dots" in the way that are pointed out in the original hackusation video the dots would have to be sized way up.

In the end, whether or not this hack was used the fact that you can hide it from bandicam is moot. You can't. Because you can see the player marker in the center of the map which has been modified. Which shows up in all the other Radar hacks which overlay over the radar.

You will simply believe what you want to believe, it will be difficult to change that opinion and the grey area left by the webcam will always seem to support that theory. But we are confident in our ruling and our investigation.
  • Honestly everyone is saying "LAN will tell".

But he is going to be playing at one of the biggest lans if not the biggest crossfire has to offer, for his first lan.

So even if he does bad, it doesn't show anything.
Plus almost every country is light years ahead of us when it comes to competitive.
So even if he gets destroyed it shows nothing.

    :\

Yes, that's why every our version placed high at wcg/wem.

The best team in our version can easily compete with most of the other versions and win, except China. China is just the best.

Also people say he's one of the best players in the world so..

Either way gl to carbon at LAN.

6 Chinese teams all of which barely beat each other in CFPL (Their huge tournament) also the highest a US team has ever placed was second which was a group of solid players in their best state. other then that the max teams have placed was 5th.

yah the 6 Chinese teams will most likely take all the top spots, but I think you guys can beat most of the other teams.

What place did LPK get in WEM? And you probably would've placed higher in WCG if you didn't get the bad computers.

    LPK placed 7/8th.

    6- Vietnam
    7- China
    8- Pain Razer
