Anti-Cheat will be REQUIRED to run during this PUG.

How this will work
Players will be on Ventrilo at the correct preset times posted above. They will be in the PUG lobby waiting area ( muted ). From there players will put their forum and in game name ( IGN ) in their comment. Players can also put in their comment "captain" if they would like to be a captain. From there the players that volunteer to be captains will be moved down into the rooms Team 1-16. Staff members will go to the rooms starting with Team 1 and ask who they would like for a first pick. After they pick Staff will go to Team 2 and do the same concept. This will start over each time they go through teams 1-16. The people that don't get picked will be moved into the Ringers 1 Channel. The people that show up late will be automatically moved into the Ringers 2 Channel. After the teams play on a set map and rule set the winning team will then report to the match report room. Then playing opposing other winning teams. If your team has lost and you still want a chance to play, you can be asked to be moved in the Ringers 3 Channel. Players that don't run the Anti-Cheat ( ACS ) will not be banned for AC Violation and will not be on the ban list. Players that don't play by the rules will be disqualified along with the team, and the other team automatically wins. Players that show unsportsmanlike conduct will be suspended from the PUG. Winners names will be recorded and given their prizes as soon as possible. Prizes are usually given within 24-48 Hours.

We're excited to be working with OCGaming. They have a great staff, a solid website, AC and ideas, and most importantly they want to have fun and play CrossFire!

If you don't want to participate then by all means, you can skip it.
If you want to play, and want to play legitimately, OCGaming is giving an opportunity to vote on the AC for tonight's event. They will be using it for events in the future anyways. So you better get used to playing on it. -
Good group, good prizes, know what they are doing.
Kinda wish they would give a few day notice. Stop with the "Post in the morning, play at night". Announcing these Pugs ahead of time would really be alot more useful.

Be positive and proactive. This is promising to be a great start to future competitive leagues. You guys wanted them, here they are! It might be small now, but as the turnout builds and the competition grows we're going to see better and better prizes and things come from this.
In addition, the AC is REQUIRED for their draft night tomorrow.

Hi I want to participate in the event, however I have no idea how to do so. so far what I understand was if I want to participate all I have do to is:
1.Get a ventrilio
2. Join this IP / Hostname: OCG.maxfrag.net
3.Stay on the PUG lobby
4. Wait to get picked? ( I have no team) -

This will be a good opportunity to let unkown players get a chance into becoming pros with fans, but I dont find it fair that if someone who is new to the competive side of CF has a chance of not being choosen. Hoping to see a big crowd tonight.
Part of the enjoyment of PUGs is the ability to bring in new people and just have a more "random" good time.
It's just a starter event to build on, build up a following. Obviously Drafts are more serious and Leagues/Tournaments more serious still.
But there is some enthusiasm to get involved and players want the chance. So hopefully OCGaming will be able to capture some of that and help build the community even more. -
While i did win a 7 day m4a1-x i would have to put a thumbs down on today's draft. I believe that OCG didn't expect the high amount of players to come. The picking of the teams took more then one hour. When the ventrilo server crashed that was when the real "chaos" began. Our team had no strategy, no teamwork, and most importantly no fun. I believe that the pugs and drafts have huge potential, but all that they need is more organization. Also I would like to throw an idea in... Their was one guy running the whole thing which slowed things drastically. If OCG could get more staff members i believe that everything will run smoother and faster. Hope my input helped.
I could volunteer some hours to help with pugs and drafts if they are needed.
