Is everyone allowed to participate or is it only for competitive players? Also, how long do they usually last?

well, of my knowledge everyone can play, it just depends if you get picked. It's not forsure and there's only this many cpts. It takes 1hr until teams are picked and maybe 2-4 hours of playing/waiting.

Yes anyone can play. As long as you follow the rules. But yeah you got to be picked, that means popularity.

Yeah, everyone can play. As long as you got the AC or band, and follow the rules. But you have to be picked. So yeah as Qwerty said popularity. But also Cuteness.

Anyone can join but the majority of teams pick friends. If you don't get picked at first you'll be picked soon because anyone not picked has to be picked before people that arrived late/already played.

It depends on the draft. Usually picking teams and starting takes like 20-30 minutes. Depending on how many people, assuming you get to the finals(from your first gamr to last game), can range anywhere from an hour to 5 hours.
