Hello Crossfire Players, Ever wanted to play in a competitively scene and see who is really the best? Well with the community's support you can! OCG is here to bring that to you. We want to offer you with the competitive gameplay style of Crossfire. Now lets break this down into parts!
Rules:
A set ruleset / guide will tell you what game mode, maps, weapons, gear, game room settings, and perks you can and cannot use. This keeps it fair for everyone. With the gameplay fair this means no overpowered weapons or gear. This is what brings the competitive side of the game out.
Communication:
To communicate we have a private Ventrilo server with low ping. Ventrilo is a Voice over IP ( VoIP ) program. In other words you use your microphone to communicate with other people. OCG's Ventrilo server information can be located on our website. MaxFrag sponsors our Ventrilo server.
Cheaters / Hackers:
OCG has a Anti-Cheat program. This scans your computer and performs certain tasks to provide the community with NO cheaters. This is so everyone plays legitmently and fairly. The program is professionally coded and we receive logs. It is un-bypassable. If caught cheating or hacking you will be put on your ban list immanently and will not be able to play in OCG anymore. By registering to our website your automatically linked with the Anti-Cheat program with that login.
* How can this benefit you and or your clan?
- OCG has coded a Who's Online feature witch tells you who is running the Anti-Cheat. This is Automatically updated every second, so it is LIVE. For example: During or before a scrim or clan match you can tell your clan mates and opposing team to run the OCG Anti-Cheat and see that they are online and tell a staff member to check the logs. This way everyone plays legitiment.
Prizes:
We offer a vast amount of prizes. For our Alliance of Valiant Arms ( A.V.A ) tournament we are offering a grand prize of $4,000! With the whole team of winners the best graphic cards on the market. Game coins, and a free customized. OCG t-shirt! Prizes for Crossfire will vary on how much feedback we get from the community. We do give out prizes for PUGS and Drafts as well.
Schedule:
Drafts will be every Friday night at 8PM Eastern time. PUGS will be every Wednesday at 8PM Eastern time.
* This is the preset times.
How Drafts / PUGS Work:
Players will be on Ventrilo at the correct preset times posted above. They will be in the Draft lobby waiting area ( muted ). From there players will put their forum and in game name ( IGN ) in their comment. Players must have this, or elts they will not be picked for a team. Players can also put in their comment "captain" if they would like to be a captain. From there the players that volunteer to be captains will be moved down into the rooms Team 1-16. Staff members will go to the rooms starting with Team 1 and ask who they would like for a first pick. After they pick Staff will go to Team 2 and do the same concept. When reached to the last team the last team will then get to pick 2 people and so will the second to last team. Then we go back up to team one and do the same concept. This will start over each time they go through teams 1-16. The people that don't get picked will be moved into the Ringers 1 Channel. The people that show up late will be automatically moved into the Ringers 2 Channel. After the teams play on a set map and rule set the winning team will then report to the match report room. Then playing opposing other winning teams. If your team has lost and you still want a chance to play, you can be asked to be moved in the Ringers 3 Channel. Players that don't run the Anti-Cheat ( ACS ) will be banned for AC Violation and will be on the ban list. Players that don't play by the rules will be disqualified along with the team, and the other team automatically wins. Players that show unsportsmanlike conduct will be suspended from the draft. Winners names will be recorded and given their prizes as soon as possible. Prizes are usually within 24-48 Hours. /// PUGS essentially work the same way but you do not need to run the Anti-Cheat for PUGS.
Bans:
We offer a ban list for the community. It has their username, date, time, and reason why they were banned. This is very helpful to the community because if a player has been caught on the OCG Anti-Cheat program they will be banned and you can view it and see that they are not legit. Bans for harassment or spamming Ventrilo may be appealed or for a set time limit. This is to have everything orderly set and less issues as possible.

yes, thanks.isthe first one this friday? IM dyin to playNothing happens Wednesday, a Draft is when you show up on Ventrilo and you play competitively with captains and you get chosen from the draft lobby. There is no pregame to qualify for drafts! Hope this helped -
Im afraid, we most likely will not have a draft this friday unless we get our 100 supported player votes on our forum. We need to get 100 supporters on our forum vote to support the game!

Make sure your AC can also hold that many people, we are upgrading ours to accommodate the large number of users wanting to be on at the same time. We did not expect almost 200 for a first night up =P -
