Ok guys,

I'm going to step in here with a few things from rumblings I'm hearing from people.

Lets get some facts straight first off.

First off, Congrats to Carbon. The winner of the CFL Season 1.

Secondly, it looks like one of the players on Carbon had some internet issues that seemed to coincide exactly with the duration of the finals event.

This could very much have been a DDoS attack. We have seen players in the past get attacked, we have seen organizations like WOGL get attacked. It seems a certain type of player gets bored and wants to be an idiot, or a sore loser, or a troll or a cyber bully, whatever the case may be.

Unless some seriously deep internet investigation is done, it's virtually impossible to actually know who was the person that attacked the players/organization/etc. This is very difficult to determine. But it is very easy to point fingers and start rumors, which is what we're hearing.

In the end, players should be sticking up for each other rather than constantly accusing the person you don't like in the game. We're moving forward with competitive play and we're going to leave behind all the immature trolls that don't want to be involved. Carbon was able to play through it and move on. The attack didn't affect them, accusing other people didn't affect them.

Eventually those malicious people are just going to get bored and move on, while we continue to compete for prizes and prestige.


So lets stop the bickering and get back to what is important. The fact that Carbon won, is moving to the CF GL Final 4 along with Carnage and Hammertime.

Leave the accusations at the door, take your losses when you have them, don't hack in the game.. play with as much edge as you want as long as it's within the rules.. And have fun.


This thread really serves no purpose other than to propagate false rumors about what happened so it will be closed.
