Using the CGL AntiCheat to find scrims

I think this would help eliminate/reduce cheaters a lot in scrims, this anticheat has a neat little chat function:



We can also see who is on/using the anti cheat to determine legibility. This is a step forward in the competitive direction, post here if you think this a good idea.

But you never know, you could spam 5 in echo but request AC.

i'd like to see more scrims ran on client also, however esl has a similar function and it was never used ;[


also it should probably start working before we use.

Were having lag on the server at this point because of the approximate 95 people on it, joining it, and leaving it all at the same time.

Now I remember where this AC came from. I thought I remembered it. You have the same problem as xpl, once the server went live and everyone went on, no one could play because the ac server couldn't handle the stress. You need to upgrade.

Along with this and upgrading the coding we will be making it much better.

+1 But we need to add more people to the client so the program doesn't get crashed or what not.

You guys should've ran stresstests a little before the draft actually took place. However, I love the initiative. Keep it up.

You should make it so that you can make your own private rooms/channels so the chat doesn't get cluttered up with dozens of people. Of course there are always room for improvement for this thing. It's lookin good for as of now.

well to be honest Europeans use ESL Wire frequently in CF Europe for "Versus" which is essentially mixed team scrims randomized (unless your in a 5 man party with your team), only real difference is all functionality of the AC is built into the main ESL website.

same could be done here. only difference is there's a little more freedom for guys in how you find the match and who you play with as well as its not as interdependent on the leagues website like ESLs AC (at least not to my knowledge, if it is dependent on it then i doubt its as stupidly complicated as ESL as ESL is bigger). So this could work nicely and set a new standard for scrims in NA, Which would be quite cool to see.
