Hello, I'm David, The Director of Operations for Cyber Gaming League
Our Website is http://c-gl.org
Our Ventrilo server is vent.c-gl.org:3860
Cyber Gaming League is a community that prospers in competitive gaming. We dedicate ourselves to promote online gaming, community, and competition. Our goal is to provide those in our community with the best possible time playing competitively with a hack-free environment.
Cyber Gaming League is interested in picking up Crossfire as a supported game, as well as acquiring the support of Z8Games Along the way, to provide a quality competitive scene for North American Crossfire
We currently have a fully developed anti-cheat that will be used to detect any cheats, hacks, or exploits during league play,
Cyber Gaming League would host drafts for Crossfire where prizes would be available to players and teams, including, money, ZP, Razer Gaming Gear, and forum awards, (PNGs)
We would also hold a season with a large quantity of teams competing for the number 1 spot, as well as some very large prizes for that
Cyber Gaming League is currently sponsored by Webzen, The publisher of Arctic Combat, Maxfrag, a VoIP hosting company, and ESportsNetTV, a site dedicated to delivering you with all videos related to E-Sports.
If you would show interest Cyber Gaming League acquiring crossfire, please post in this thread, as well as some things you would like to see for the Crossfire competitive scene.
Also, If a Official Z8Games Employee could please post on this thread where I could possibly get a hold of Z8Games Public relations department to inquire about a sponsorship, That would be great, Thank you.

If only CFL had a website like this and an Anti-Cheat =P
The website itself isn't hard. Its most likely just joombla with a slightly edited default template. The real magic is in a working league script, which I haven't been able to see yet because they don't have any actually running games at the moment. -

What do you mean by a league script, Could you go into more detail about it?, Do you mean like tournaments and brackets, or anticheat? -

Ever play on esea? Automated match report/scoring, scheduling, players make teams and other players join teams off there own unique accounts that store their game guids and the accounts are tied into the anticheat.
But since you asked what it is, I'm guessing that you are more along the lines of the team leader posts all the players on his team in some list on the forums.
IE: Basically everything is easy to navigate and automated, so things run smoother and faster. -

No, I do know what you are talking about, the forum accounts are tied into the Anticheat, We do have a system that is a WIP that does pretty much exactly what you are describing, It will most likely be launched in the near future. -
This is a warning to everyone.
I do NOT want any Bashing towards CGL, CFL or any other groups.
Egos have destroyed many great things for CF, dont let it ruin anything else.
RAWR IM EGOZILLA MUNCH MUNCH!!!
Nah hope this is legit and goes through, gL -

The tough part/most interesting is the automated match report/scoring. Its a shame crossfire doesn't let us make custom servers like CS. The best way to implement, in my opinion, this feature would be have the anti-cheat take screen shots at the end of the match and then parse the image for scores and then insert into the Db. I wish I had the time to work on this, its a really interesting problem set.
on topic: Good luck Dave. -

The only thing "Egos" have ever gotten rid of was wogl. Which no one wanted because they have yet to pay for s2 or s3.
