aw, ic, top6 from lan...thats alot of teams, but ok,thx. -
lol how does it make sense to take more teams from the lan which anyone can go to, than from cfl playoffs which teams had to qualify for.
Lan results are much better than online results, seeing how you suck at both not sure why you are complaining -

That would make perfect sense if it wasn't an open LAN. Not to say anything about the teams that attended LAN, but obviously an online tournament is going to have better competition.
Oh.. and.. good one.. ya got me, I'm bad. -

Even an OPEN lan will have better competition than an online event because it only, for the most part, brings in teams that have enough dedication to a team to go to a LAN and on top of that the playing field is more level from a equipment perspective. (I.e. Same FPS and PING which does make a big difference for some) -

Yeah, hammertime definitely lacks the dedication to their team. The only thing that attending that LAN proved was that you had enough money, and didn't have any other commitments that weekend. Nothing else. -

Hammertime has gone to every lan they could besides this. The best teams still win at LAN and Online so both forms are good for competition, but I still think live matches at LANs are greater testaments to a teams skill because its an equal playing field. Its not like a team who is bad online won lan. -

You're completely missing the point. The point is that the level of competition at an OPEN LAN is less than the level of competition in an OPEN ONLINE LEAGUE. A bigger field in general creates better competition when anyone can join. There is a reason that half the teams that attended LAN aren't in CFL playoffs. -

AEONK and Web Gaming got 3rd and 4th at LAN and they easily could have made the CFL playoffs they just didnt participate in CFL. Undaunted, Ehostage, SNSD, Lifeline, Carnage, Sprayops, and molson all went to LAN and 6 of those 7 made playoffs. And Out of the 6 lan teams who made playoffs 2 are still in CFL playoffs for top 6 and honestly AEONK and Web gaming could have made top 8 for CFL if they had played, So your argument isnt really valid when half of the teams from LAN made the playoffs for CFL and it could have easily been 9 of the 12 lan teams if Web and Aeonk had played in CFL. The only teams that couldnt have made CFL playoffs from LAN are (Agn, Revitalized, and Escape Artist) -
We're just waiting for a little bit of the playoffs of the CFL to happen before we confirm teams for the invite tournament.
We'll having some more details towards the end of this week and into next week. Note that our invite tournament will have to take place all next week so please be aware of what is going on and be ready to get involved! -

It should be 4 semi finalists for CFL, Top 4 from LAN, and 4 others from a seperate invite.
