FPS lag w/ tab

Hello, I was wondering if anybody could help fix an FPS issue I get with CF. When I hit Tab my FPS goes from 200 to 100 and chops the fu** out of my game for a second or so, wondering if anybody knows of a fix?

GPU: 560 ti
CPU: i5 3570k @ 4ghz

Oh and to add I had an AMD Phenom x4 955 a while ago and it stayed at pretty much 200 fps consistently while tabbing. Considering my newer processor is better, I was wondering why this is ^^. Thanks.

Had the same problem with my 3930. All you have to do is take some water and pour it on the motherboard.

yeah it must be overheating, this type of water cooling is your best option
