In our attempts to further improve the quality of life in CrossFire we are having a maintenance tonight for more server updates and some game fixes.
The servers will be down at 11pm EST March 27th, for approximately 1-2 hours, while we implement these fixes.
What does this mean? We're upgrading our servers to better defend against malicious attacks. We are also implementing a better early detection system on our servers so that when an issue occurs we are more informed and can solve the problem faster.
We are also performing a game update tonight which will help further address the client errors users have been seeing in ZM games and more. This will also contain a couple of minor bug fixes that have been reported recently too.

I typed up a colossal essay about my complaints and horrible experiences in Crossfire, but I decided to delete it and just say that this is a behind-the-times game with a horrible and irresponsible administration system.
Saidin, why don't you just put: "We'll take forever to get our servers back up." Instead of, "Oh, we'll have it back in 1-2 hours"?
It's been dissapointment after dissapointment after dissapointment for me in this game.
I'm moving on and so should you. -

It's free to play but the ping aren't stable, if u remember a few years back 2010 ; I used to get 80 ping in alpha,echo, and bravo but now it's 140+ so what do u call that? they have to work on the servers it's ridiculous.It's a free to play game, you don't have to play if you don't want too. They mod's are doing the best they can right now. Get over it! -

They are doing as best as they can. Plus they live in Toronto, and it's 2:28 AM EST in here. They could had just went home and sleep, or spend the time with their family. BUT, NO you have to complain how horrible the Gm's and admin's are. If you think, z8 has horrible support/ customer service, YOU THINK WRONG. Wal-mart is even worse in my opinion. And Zellers too, that is why Target is taking over. -

We're sorry our original estimate was wrong, and that you on the west coast of Canada have had to stay up until 11:30pm in the hopes that you could play some CF before your bed time.
My suggestion here would be to relax and get some sleep! The Servers will be up tomorrow. -
All I keep reading is people saying bad stuff about the game so I figure I'll make this post about good things about the game. I've been playing CF since 2008 I remember when the best gun to get was the scar light. I remember the first zp gun or whatever was the mp5 with a silencer and when spop was released and how happy I was finally a girl character. CF has had it's ups and downs. Guys keep up the good work. Despite it's flaws I will always love this game it was the first online FPS I ever played. Sorry for the typos I'm half asleep lol.

Really? My ping is going down from 20 ping to 5 ping. I don't know if that's the server, or just me temporary living at a different location. (I'm in university, so it explains why) -

I do buy zp a lot! I spent around $5000 so far but I don't see any improvement in the game it's getting worst. they have to work on ping/server, or they should just tell us to pitch up some money to upgrade the servers or whatever they have to do.Ya, I remember the servers back then. Thanks GM for your considerate reply. But I'm pretty much done. I've spent a few hundred dollars on this game and I've been around since beta, but it's really not getting any better.
I wish you all the luck in making this game fun for everyone that still plays. Kudos for staying up this late and working hard at it.

Still like this game even though it frustrates me a little on the large amount of people that cheat. But my first FPS shooter game was counter strike for the computer in 1999 that said will like to disclose my age LOL.... can be the father of many of you
