Coalition of Legit Clans Revamped
Previously, groups like the LCC were formed so that legit clans could identify other legit clans they could play with.
But what if you were also able to identify which clans not to play with (for whatever reasons )?
I'll be creating a simple list/database to that end. Once this is created, I will be sending out the link to this list to the clans who post below.
Now, I know that there are people out there who are interested in helping to contribute information to that list. It would be awesome if a representative from each legit clan would post below in the following form:
Clan:
Representative's forum name:
If, for some reason (cough cough, censorship, cough cough), some clans are unable to post in this thread, I'll just privately contact clans with active threads in the Clan subforum.
Disclaimer: nowhere in this thread has hacking been explicitly mentioned until this sentence. This is not a hackusation thread, so please do not call names or insult people here. In its current state, there is no legitimate reason for this thread to be closed based on the Z8Games Forum Rules, so let's keep it that way.

The idea itself is great, it always has been, but every time it failed, I know it, I was there. Good luck, you're gonna need it.
If it fails, then it fails.
None of the previous organizations really attempted to maintain a comprehensive blacklist (i.e. of clans not to play, for whatever reason). Which is the main goal here. Instead of venting about certain clans/players to their clanmates, clans can now share that info with other legit clans online. -

Well, there's three minor problems :- The amount of new clans (of which the purpose clearly is "hacking in clan war"), which can make it hard to spot some of the hackers in clan war. I'm not talking about the obvious 10 minutes clans by the way.
- Once the blacklist gets too big (and it will), people will have trouble remembering every clan on it, and most people are way too lazy to alt+tab the game to search a clan name through a list.
- Big clans can't watch every member's back all the time, we've had hackers in TryAgain, they get kicked, but only after something like a week. Things like this can get clans willing to be legit on the blacklist, prevent them from having quality clan wars, and eventually witter and die from only playing clan wars against hacking clans (okay, that last part was a dramatization).
But then again, with if you manage to moderate your lists, it can help making leagues, scrims, friends and stuff. -

1) See point number 3.
2) I'll try for a list that is sortable and searchable.
3) I've already thought about this, and that's why I will emphasize that one player hacking does not imply an entire clan hacking. There will be two lists, one of "clans" and the other of "individuals." The clan would have to be pretty egregious (the kind of clan you described in point #1) to make the list. Even though these individuals can delete and reform clans, it still helps to have their USN on record.
Thanks for the input. Let me know if you have any other concerns. I won't be able to work on the site right at the moment, but it'll get made soon, lol. -

Like the LGT, the dead UGS, and the LCC, (or the CLC in this case)
Lawl. I thought it was the CLC for some reason. Oh well, let me see if I can edit the acronym still. -
I like the idea in principle (always have). There are countless reasons previous iterations are no longer around, but I would stop short of calling them "failed." I believe each of these organizations have made other players aware of the clans who believe in playing the game without hacking or cheating. All versions of the LCC have been a success in that respect.
I think the main hurdle to be overcome is the idea of accepting clans as "legit" and classifying others as "hackers," "cheaters," etc. Every legit clan has had a hacker or two at one time or another (if only briefly) and a majority of hacker clans have some legit players. Then, of course, there is the issue of providing proof that the clans listed as "hackers" do in fact cheat. Who is the ultimate judge and jury?
In general, Z8 does not "ban" clans per se. The reason? Because it is unfair to label clans as hackers because of the actions of one or more clan members. I feel in this case, they got it right.
All this being said, GoodBurger has always taken a hard stance against hackers and clans that we have noted to support hacking. While I certainly wonder what will become of this group, I strongly agree with its purpose. We would be happy to be involved. Let me know what I or my LT's/clan members can do.

Thanks. And yeah, well, I probably won't begin working on it unless/until enough people show interest
If you want I can make the thread with all the rules and stuff. Actually I think it's somewhere here, just search for it, I can edit it with the clans that actually want to do this. People didn't want me to do it much because I'm disliked around the forums, but I really don't care -

Thanks, but it's all right lol. No need to do all that. Anyway, all I can really offer people is a database, if enough people are willing to contribute info. Looks like there might not be enough interested for the blacklist to actually take off, though. Oh well, 'twas worth a try. -
The site has been created and is coming along wonderfully. If anyone else wants to sign up to be part of this blacklist (I call it a "compendium of CF's most blatant"), then go for it. Otherwise, I will be releasing the site most likely within the next week.

I can help with the html/css -
My work of art is now nearing completion, and I have posted some info in my signature. I will be PMing those who signed up as representatives. If you have any cheaters to report, go ahead and PM me now. I will be opening up a section of the website for reporting as well, to be released soon.
