Black market extension/ trade shop?

alright this may be long but bare with me.
Alot of people have crate guns or coupons guns or gp guns and such lying around correct?
What if there was a user to user shop? like for example, i have 2 berreta ar 70's i was lucky enough to win both out of my crates. But will i ever need more then 1? I highly doubt it. but the problem is i cannot resell it because its a crate gun. but what if i could sell to other members? Obviously for zp/GP but heres how it could work
You have the gun and next to repair ( or resell for GP bought guns ) It could say sell on black market or something along those lines and it could have these options ( example )

Asking price? Zp: 15000 GP 50000
Trade? ( Would have list of perm guns and youd click and scroll to gun you want )

What do you guys think? it'd be a great way to get rid of extra guns and get guns youve been wanted or exchange them for ZP or GP. and i don't see z8 losing money due to the fact that people are getting Zp from other users. Because if somebody wants that gun bad enough they could buy zp right then and buy it, and its not like somebody is gonna get rich off of it cause if they ask something crazy then nobody will buy it
thoughts?

  • Put in suggestions next time. I'd like this but GM Saidin said this won't happen.
  • If it works has a public auction house rather then a direct trade, it less likely to be abuse-able. It also give a reasonable resell for GP guns if a user doesn't like it.

But the massive amount of programming work for something that brings no income for the Devs means it highly unlikely.

    It is in suggestion section.
    I kinda like this idea...
  • True but it could possibly bring income. Some people may buy ZP for the sole purpose of buying a gun they saw another user selling, if said person maybe doesn't like buying crates or doesn't buy much ZP for any reason
I.e somebody is selling a Ak 47 knife for 20k ZP and somebody who wants that gun but doesnt like crates see's it. They go and spend $20 on zp to buy it. so i can somewhat see this as making money for Z8

20,000ZP for a trade < 200,000ish ZP to win it in crates.

And that doesn't even get into the reselling. Basically people buy less crates to win guns and just keep passing the guns around well ZP is hoarded for trades instead of spent and erased on ZP crates.
  • Sorry didn't realize its in suggestions, silly me >_>
I like the idea +1 just I don't think its going to happen.

Not everyone is willing to spend that much on crates, i know some people that don't get crates at all. And maybe there could be no trading zp to other users and just have other guns and GP to trade. I'd rather have it like that then not have it at all

There are 3 basic groups from a money perspective to Z8.

    Group 1: The Free players.
These players almost never buy ZP and rely mostly on surveys for it.
    This the biggest group.

    Group 2: The light spenders.
This group spends a rational amount on the game, about $20-$60.
Whether they won or not, they aren't usually willing to spend much more; if they do, it is infrequently.

    Group 3: The heavy spenders.
This group has lots of money to burn and usually die hard CF fans. Easily drop $100-$1,000+ on the game. Regularly spends $50+ a month. Most of them I asked say there average win is around $100 per ZP gun.

Anyways, trading a ZP gun for GP or a GP gun just makes it worse for Z8. Because now only 1 person bought any ZP rather then 2.

Well i'm sure anyone selling a ZP gun for GP would be asking ALOT. I would imagine too much for a strictly free player. And they could buy GP with ZP. I do see your point though but i really don't see anyone letting a ZP/ crate gun go for cheap.
  • There is actually a thread like this in the suggestions. From the responses of the MODs in that thread, I'm pretty sure that this idea is not going to get real...
  • You do realize if an M4 Tiger went up for auction, the bidding price would probably be around 500k+. You suggest that nobody will buy a gun for outrageous amounts of ZP, but you're very incorrect. I can only see this system being abused, or used by only wealthy players.

As VATAV said, the idea itself is a lot of work to develop without it giving a direct income. I know another game that recently added a hat trading system, it took them 2 years to create with very good developers.
  • The funny thing is i know exactly what game you're talking about. LOL i think atleast :P

Anyways. Yes I want this too and have reccomended it, Unfortuneatly, It'll never happen :(
