Just get xfire.
xfire is like a gaming messenger. You can create a clan page for your clan in xfire and you can add more then 100 friends. Xfire works in game, this means you can use xfire and crossfire at the same time.
When you press "Scroll Lock + C" a chat window comes up and you can chat where ever you are. You can also press "Scroll Lock + W" and start a browser and report hackers without closing crossfire. -

xfire works in game
You start xfire and then Crossfire. When Crossfire is running you just press scroll lock + c and the chat window comes up.
You can talk to people, you can start a voice chat or you can also let other people watch you play. Just tell your in game friends to get xfire. -
How about being able to scroll up the chat box in case someone missed an important message. Crossfire should start worrying more about the game itself instead of making new weapons most of the time.
you don't get the point of this thread. he is trying to say that for example someone says something in lobby, and other people spam. if he's trying to scroll up to see what the first person said the chat will go down to the person who is spamming. not everyone will get xfire just because of a simple bug which must get fixed.BadMonkey666 wrote: »xfire works in game

maybe it doesn't get fixed because nobody complained about it? now that he mentioned it don't say something like:'just install xfire and talk there'. you should be more like: yes, it would be nice to get it fixed. -
The chat will not be changed, many people have complained about it but it didn't got changed.
Even when you spam the whole forum with those threads, at one point a GM will come in and tell you that they won't do it, that's what happened with some other suggestions too. Many people wanted a LT+ server and we had many threads but it never got added.
The same will happen with this suggestions, even if you and others created more threads about it.
Have you ever heard the term "never touch a running system"? People play this game, even with the stupid chat and that's why they will not change the chat. They would have to pay coders to recreate the chat and they don't get anything back for it.
