I don't see who would buy it though when they could just join a clan and get the benefit anyways. Unless they have a "ton" of extra BP.

If you buy it yourself you can choose what crates you want and you don't need a clan.

(if someone else was in the clan before you with this item it only effects you, not the whole clan.)
