The buff of the weak guns!

How about buff up guns that are unreasonable weak such as: Uzi, p90, m9, Glock, Famas, mp7, mp5, micro galil, p228, colt, and ect.

This will make these guns more popular and would allow a bigger item shop. (most people don't even consider these as weapons)

Every primary needing a buff up will become 30% stronger besides a few like p90 which will get a 20% buff up. (due to having a lot of ammo to compensate)

Pistols will have a 30% buff up besides the m9 and Glock which will receive a 50% buff up.

Having this revamp will make it seem that new guns have been added.

IMO most people think M12s and Kriss is "noob" because the other SMGs are underpowered especially since there are not many of them.

  • Those guns were meant to be "unpopular".

No matter how much you "buff" guns,
There will be those weak ones that won't be as popular as the strong ones.

Which is why we make them strong.
  • Uzi and M9 probably won't ever be buffed, because they're basically bullied by every other gun in the game, and Crossfire wants them to suffer.
  • Well, that suggestion sounds good, as it gives a wider variety of weaponry to the players.
  • I think they're fine the way they are. It's fun when there are weak guns that you play around with. If all guns are strong whats the point of guns? =.=

It wouldn't make THAT big of a difference. A p90 would only gain about 7-10 damage added.

7-10 would be a lot. Probably do more damage than MP5 and a bit less than M12s.

M12s is not OPed because of it's power, it's OPed because of the rate of fire, recoil and accuracy.

Mp5 would be buffed too. Just guns that are underrated and unreasonably weak will receive a bigger buff.

M12s does pretty good damage. Plus P90 has a LOT of ammo so it covers for the rate of fire.

MP5 is fine the way it is. It's pretty powerful if you know how to use it.

Ammo is useless if you can't use it.

Mp5 doesn't gain any power if you know how to use it, just more bullets hit.

You don't hear or see people saying they like mp5 for its power let alone using the gun itself. And this isn't even mainly about buffing the mp5, if you read it buffs guns that are WAY out of league such as Glocks, Uzis and M9s.

You could have just said you shouldn't buff the Mp5 as much as other guns. And it isn't even my choice. If it does get accepted it is up to the developers on the amount of power.
  • If you can't use that gun don't purchase it, or purchase a better gun. As simple as that. Weak guns are fun to use and shouldn't be changed since all we get now are powerful ZP/GP/BP/Temp guns. Weak and strong guns should be around 1/3-4 (Weak/Strong).

Why make a gun most people won't use?

For beginners/try and for fun. All games have weak and strong weapons, it's kinda needed. I personally use weak guns in pubs for the hell of it. I'm sure a LOT of people do that. And new comers always purchase these guns because they don't know how strong.
  • 30-60% bufff??? do u have any idea how much that is? that would make most guns so OP

    Yes I do.

The higher percentages are for the Glock. 17 or so damage is outrageous. The buff would give it 29 or so damage. Seems right for the rank and cost needed to buy the Glock.

Because of this new players QUIT because they think it is unfair. Weak and strong have limits, some guns just push them. The guns won't make a giant difference. A Uzi or whatever you use will still be "fun" to use while giving others the ability to use it daily.
  • if they buffed the uzi and m9 i would never use them, bad guns are fun to use sometimes.

I've actually never heard of anyone quitting because they bought a weak gun. Just buy another one. You get plenty of GP when you rank.

Plus it's better off that the rookies use noob guns against eachother. It would be kinda dumb to give them strong guns and get wrecked.

That's because you are inconsiderate of new players. They get beat down because the Uzi is outrageously weak and they realize they have no more GP.

You do not get a lot of GP. You have to work hard for it. 30 days or so gives you about 20k GP and that's only if you play on a daily basis.

Many new people quit because getting beat down because of a gun isn't fun and making new accounts makes them waste their time.

yep im extremely inconsiderate, even tho the m4a1 ak47 scar light deagle anaconda awm ak74 and probably a few others i cant think of are amazing guns for GP

Considering you get kicked out for using M12s and Scar light, half the other guns are just sitting there and are a waste of space.

Seeing that everyone uses the same gun doesn't excite me.

Glad to see that I can have a argument without flame wars and off topic conversations. (hope I didn't speak too soon)

Pshhh UZI doesn't get bullied, it does the bullying.

if u know how to use them, they arent so weak. look up some uzi and m9 montages -_- PS i can do good with mp5 and uzi

Too bad you aren't getting the bigger picture.

In simple terms: either benefit 200 or so people who use this gun (less then 1 time a week) OR benefit the thousands of new players for a long times stay.

Not to mention the average CF gamer wouldn't do so great with a m9 and Uzi.

ya thats true but i still think there is enough options for gp but thats my opinion.

You get at least 70K by the time you rank to Staff Sergeant and you get to that rank in about 2-3 weeks. And that's about 2 guns. Tbh no one quits because they have a weak gun, it's their fault for buying it in the first place.

Okay then so tell me more on how it's their fault for buying a weak weapon especially since they are new and have no in game experience. Your argument is invalid.

70k is not a lot. Especially when you make a mistake again. (let's say you buy a micro gall and a p90) Starting over is not appealing, most people would just find a new game.

You play in game, you pick up guns. You play Alaska/Crossroad, you pick up guns.. It's still their fault for buying the weak guns. =.= Just buy an M4A1 or something better. But the time you purchase your second gun you must have some sort of game experience.

I'm not saying 70K is a lot, but it's enough for you to choose wisely. If you mess up the first time you should have learned from it. Plus when you play in the rookie server they usually don't play with the weak guns. Maybe like 2/10 do, the rest use M16 or something better.
