A website improved suggestion

It would be helpful if Z8games also put up a download link to download the latest patch instead of downloading the whole thing again.

I know there are some people who have got problems with the latest patch but they only need to download the latest patch in order to fix the problem but they have to download the own game again which can be annoying.

So my suggest is to put a download link in here: http://crossfire.z8games.com/downloadS2.aspx

To download the latest patch. It will automatic bring up a installer which installs the new files into the Crossfire folder. Then they should put a list of the 4 recent patches and put a download link for them.

What do you think?

That's what the patcher does every patch.. Useless.

This would never work.

Some people have problems because they have not patched for 2+ patches, and the client has to cycle though them. Making a patch downloadable won't solve the problem.

It would help people who can't download the patch or are experiencing problems when downloading the new patch. So all they have to do is download the latest patch from the site.

It's just a suggestion.

Well, if they can't DL the patch, they should find a way to allow to DL the patch. Instead of DLing the patch and installing (while there remains a problem with the client that may or may not be important).

Also, for players that have not patched for 2+ patches (the most probable cause of the crash) it won't help.

It takes like 15 mins to download the whole setup, if it would be like 3 hours then i would get why this was necessary, but as it doesn't take that long I don't see the need..

For me it takes 45 minutes to download the whole setup again. For some other people it might take up to 2 hours depending on their Internet connection.

If they need 2 hours then they shouldn't even play this game as their ping will definetly be too high.

They probably can't download it from the launcher because they removed the patch from their servers.
