Yea well, there are many ways to lose Ribbon, but it's problem of those people, they knew that they will lose ribbon for sure if they do something agains rules... So, where is the problem?...
For eg. I want to buy zp via PayPal.The payment gets delayed by X reason for 1 week.Meanwhile I get banned for chargeback by z8games.
I lost the ribbon.Easy as that. -
My ribbon was removed because I got banned when some BR got mad over me insulting them over and over again because they were annoying and following me while spraying an M60. He reported me and apparently I was banned. (At least when I tried logging in a few days later it said I was banned)
A server with only honorable ribbons may seem like a paradise, but it'd have a lot of players feeling like they just got shat on my Z8 Games. -
Then you could directly simply make a new server for Master seargent+ and there wouldnt be that many hacks.Staff sergeant never more... It needs minimally Master sergeant or higher. People with higher rank in 80% dont need / want to lose their ribbon because of ribbon reward system...
But this has been discussed often enought. As it was added we didn't use it, therefore Z8 doesn't see the need for such a server. Maybe they will add it in the future, who knows. For now they won't. -
-1.Too many hackers still that hasn't gotten banned.For people who's legit that lost their HSR for any other reason than hacking,this would be limiting their rights to play with legit players.Thats simply too many people.Besides,the new server would be absolutely filled due to the fact that all the players who has their HSR.Therefore,not a good idea.

That is precisely why it is needed.
Not only do you face hackers that have never been banned, you are also facing ones that have received numerous bans.For people who's legit that lost their HSR for any other reason than hacking,this would be limiting their rights to play with legit players.
Actually they limited their own rights by swearing, insulting and harrassing others and by attempting to fraud Z8.
What people attempt to do is make out their are lesser or more acceptable ways to lose the ribbon.
But is there any way to lose a "Honorable soldier" ribbon "Honorably"? -

Paypal delays a payment, Z8 Games bans you for chargebacks even though you have the full intention to pay. When the payment goes through you're unbanned, HSR is still removed. -

You mean players that get banned for absolutely no reason at all?
Or blockers in game that get banned and you count that as being banned for nothing?
In either case 1# You don't get banned for nothing and it is hard to even get hackers banned. 2# If you like annoying people by blocking and wasting time then your probably better playing with others who waste their time, like hackers. -

I didnt feel like reading all 6 pages of replies... but anyway, I don't know about the guys who lost it but no because of hacks, but to make sure new hackers get on you need to make it a higher rank, that will take some dedication but no be like first lieutenant like conor said. I suggest maybe the 3 arrows with the semi-circle thing under it (not good with names)

Basically any sort of ban whatsoever leads to the loss of the ribbon. Including, but not limited to, chargebacks, being reported for harrassment, insulting, racial remarks (leads to the insulting part)
oh, I wouldn´t want to miss out on playing with those guys! Now lets throw our right arms up and greet each other like its 1940. -

As lieutenant of clan, I have to read excuses about absence of Honorable Soldier Ribbon ... I read no-senses like :
1.) "This isnt my account, the previous owner was a hacker" ...
2.) "I dont know why did they do it" ...
3.) "I am pretty good player !! So I think they thought I am a hacker" ....
4.) "What is "ribbon"" ....
5.) "I am not ribbon collector" ....
etc....
I never met player without HSR who admit that he was hacker ...
Fact is the Honorable Soldier Ribbon cant just "disappear" !
