Take Off Spawn Shield for FFA.

So you're saying when you spawn and you see 5 people in front of you, and they can't kill you 3 seconds. Would you really don't want that?

No. Just no. Otherwise you could start camping at certain point and just farm kills form a certain spawn point.

Of course not always, but it would be possible if you find a nicely secluded spot.

Instead they just need to fix up the spawn points in all 3 FFA maps and try to create better spots..but that can be really hard with some maps with like 16 different spots

well, it would be more reasonable to lower the spawn protection time a bit. It is to prevent spawn camping, ya know? For the time being, what you could do is lower how many people can be in the room. It's way better than 16 players. I wouldn't want them take off spawn protection though :S

As I've suggested before, make the spawn shield as long as your weapon draw time, might be hard to make, but will balance out the gameplay.

16 person FFA's are awesome.. It's just a drag to have to skip, jump, and bunny hop around people that spawn next next to me while I wait for the infernal red blinking of spawn shield to stop.

1 second spawn shield would be alright, i guess.

In other games like Half Life, Counter Strike or Unreal Tournament you don't have a spawn shield too. Anyway I think a 1.5 sex protection would be enough, other then it would be to easy for farmers.

But yes i agree its really annoying. well at least have the option ( for host ) to approve it or not.

maybe just drop it to 1.5-2 sec at max true 3 seconds are bit too long in 3 seconds u can run a bit and kill at least 2 people while ur still imortal so shield should be dropped a little bit
