High Quality Maps?

Is it possible to make maps that have more details and better/bigger maps? That would be great. It's just a question and I don't think it will happen but I hope so:)
Like better graphics or so?
I know it will be hard to do but it would be so much funnier.

I don't want better graphics because my computer is laggy and this should lag even more:(

The textures of new maps like Spain etc are 4x higher in resolution than older maps like Lost Relics and Eagle Eye. There's only so much you can do with the engine, they've added particle effects to some maps and weapons, maybe they'll add some more stuff in the future.
