yeah, so instead of just changing the default radio sounds with DL'd custom sounds through mod hub, and then only you can hear it but it still sounds normal to everyone else when you use the radio,

have it so that everyone else can hear your custom radio messages as well.

ofc put some sort of size limit on the files

well some people are to lazy and some dont care about that sound.
but there is no need for it that people hear your custom sounds.

But its fun. Also a good way to bypass cf word filters: just play recordings of swear words

but what your asking is. that another person hear your costum sounds and not the normal ones? how would that even be done?

Have you guys ever played counter strike? If yes, guess why they added the option to not download custom sounds.

By the way, hoe would this work? You create a room and everybody that want's to join has to download a bunch of .wav files first?

Streaming. Sure, it might slow others down a little, but that's why we put a size cap on the files.

Because this feature exists in cs and everybody is annoyed by it. It was so annoying that Valve added the option to disable the custom sounds. Now you are asking for this in to be added in crossfire.

I was just wondering if you have any experience, because I don't understand why someone would like to have this feature after he tried it.

To be honest, I take people who played counter strike more serious them people who didn't played it. There is a simple reason why I do this. People who have played Counter Strike have usually more experience in gaming.

I played CS: Source for a while, but I got bored because of the lack of content. I didn't really get into it like with CF, but I know some of the game play.

I think this is what makes counter strike good. You have only a few weapons, this makes the game more fair. Your enemies can't buy zp weapons which are overpowered and way stronger then yours. But if you really like all those weapons then you could just use some custom mods from sites like gamebanana. It's possible to add more weapons to the game but no one does it because no one wants new weapons.

Anyway, if you played counter strike then you should know about all those downloads you have to do before you join the server, aren't they annoying as hell?
