They will never give a perm gun from dog tags.
I understand that the dog tags are an oppurtunity to get free stuff, but the duration reduction is what I'm angry about.
To be honest 90 days seemed like a bit much for two pretty good weapons (XM8-Spring and M4A1-Bronze). 7 days on the other hand is a huge downgrade from previous prizes so it's understandable that people will be complaining about it. I think any temporary weapon in the dog tag exchange should be 30 days. It's the optimum duration. -
It should follow along the footsteps of XM8 Spring and M4 Bronze and be 90 days.
I think they realize we were winning the guns for 90, 180, 270 days. = no money for them. i have XM8 180 days M4B 90 days. I missed the M4B 90 days, by 1 day, they change to knife shotgun, just as I got my last mission tag. So I have all missions tags full. I will wait and see whats next. -

Complaining is the players' way to hold z8 to their standards. If no1 complained about 7 day dogtag weapons, next they could put in 1 day weapons. Sure its unfortunate that ppl complain about downgrades more than they praise upgrades by z8. And maybe some positive reinforcement of game improvements like the partial save replay would be more helpful to us all than complaining about disappointments like 7 day weapons. But perhaps it is just human nature to be whiny lil beesknees. Know what i mean? -

allways- if you pay for something really stupid- you will be happy about it, if you get it for free, You will start shouting - it sux, gimme more... Just shut up and be happy. Since i started cf - game evolved alot, man i remember when there where 15 or 20weapons max in whole game. Several maps and EVERYONE WAS HAPPY. Now, when you can play different stiles and different weapons- you want more and call awesome patches peace of ****. Sometimes patches are for zp donars, sometimes for players who dont buy it. I guess they added remington for 7 days just as teaser. One day it will come perm. So just shut the duck up and play. Dont like remington for 7days? Just dont exchange your dogtags, Good luck in gaming, sorry for poor english and grammar, english isnt my first language.

To be completely frank with you, I think you are overreacting . They would never put 3day items in there and besides who cares if they do? At least you have the choice to buy it or not. You should be grateful it changes after a set amount of time.
People act like they would leave cf if they started putting 3 days spray in tags reward.

Free2Play games are the worst games and they are known for destroying the gaming industry. The only games that are worse then Free2Play games are EA games, that are pay2play but still requires you to pay for the extra content.
Most of you will not remember it or were not even born back then but we used to have map editors and mod editors with every game we bought. Today you get a game with 6 or 9 maps and you have to pay 30€ for every map pack that has like 5 or 6 maps.
You all act like crossfire is something good. This game is not good. Well it is free but there are many other better free games. Just take a look at the epic games contest or at all the half life mods. -

Yes, they don't directly make a profit from dog tags, but by taking out decent rewards like M4 bronze players who don't buy zp will not be able to use such weapons and need to purchase zp to get them. By making the rewards worse its indirectly driving their potential profits. As for the events Z8 is trying to encourage us to play but at the same time they never want to give too good of rewards because if we got something like 30 day axe we wouldn't be spending zp to get it. They are trying to do something good but cheap out in the end and most events just feel like a slap in the face -

Its not free if youre working for it. How the hell are F2P games destroying the gaming industry!? How on earth does the F2P business model affect the P2P business model?

F2P games are the other side of the gaming coin.
Crossfire is one of the better F2P games... the statistics prove that. The fact that there are many different versions worldwide and its one of the top F2P games in terms of hours played a week.

People shouldn't cry about a reward that's actually better than some of the previous ones. The time we have it for is horrific and DOES FEEL LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE, don't get me wrong. But people shouldn't constantly make threads, and have a huge hissy fit about it. It gets annoying. -
To be honest i like the gun reward from the dog tags is only like in a range between 9-15 days because otherwise you will get stuck with a bunch of weapons in your storage, i agree with the time of the gun lowered but 7 days is too short, i would make it like 10 days or so. Also thanks for the rotation of the guns

They destroy it. Long time ago you had to pay once for a game and everything else was for free but now you pay for a game once and you have to pay again a few times.

How long? Unreal Tournament 3 had no DLCs at all. They made free updates and new content for the game but all for free. I think it was like 15 maps and 2 new gamemods. It might be the best Free2Play game, (I personally think that Team Fortress 2 is better then Crossfire) but this doesn't changes the fact that they are screwing us. They removed the Axe from the coupons and the Black Market is just scam. In other games like Team Fortress 2 you can get most of the pay content for free by playing. When you kill other players they sometimes drop some pay content and when you collect it you have it permanent. Who says they wouldn't put 3 day items next or in the near future?
Nobody would have ever thought when the deagle crates were there that they would be replaced and the item to replace them would be a poxy temp gun, would they?
Yet when it was changed to a temp gun instead of everyone saying "This sucks, it's not worth while" and "It doesn't encourage players to do the missions (which is the reason we have them)" there was fanboys just like now saying "It's free, don't complain - I like it!" - So the powers that be thought "we have idiots" lets give them a 7 day gun now and see how much they applaud it.
And you are applauding it or showing indifference and indirectly supporting the item; therefore I wouldn't be surprised if we get 3 day items or other useless crap like a muzzle flare as the reward soon or indeed a spray. Precisely because of people like you. -

I have never thought of Crossfire as a good game. But it seems that most games (Inc. P2P) can't build up to the standard of creating Macro and Micro communities (Forum and Clans), creating tournaments that are interesting, AND NOT MOVING TO NUMBER 8 IN THE SERIES SO I LOSE ANOTHER £40. -
F2P games are hardly the main reason that the game industry is dying. The game companies are chewing their own meat off their own bodies. Charging £40 for a game.
There are people who spend up to $500 for ZP, which is a lot more then just £40. And keep in mind that most games costs only half the price after some months. Just look at the steam sales. They have many games that cost only 9.99 now but where 39 originally. -

and yes, there are people that spend a fair amount of money on the game, as on any other game with additional content. But i fail to see how this affects the rest of the users?
EG if i buy £500 of zp in one month, or i buy £0, how does it affect you? It is an individuals choice as to whether they buy ZP or not.
But at the end of the day - anyone with a computer can play crossfire, even if they have little//no money, due to the fact it is a F2P game - e.g. no subscription fee, no download cost, no price for the game itself. This is where F2P games win in the aspect that they do not limit their audience in the same way.
But yes, at the end of the day, Z8 is still a company. Companies are designed to provide a service, and make money for providing it.
