some speculation
From what ive seen z8games needs to step it up a bit. I mean with the ending of the new event christmas in july,ive seen that more and more people are getting frustrated. My question is instead of making useless events why doesnt z8 games listen to the players and fix some stuff within crossfire.
ie : hackers (well thats hard i understand)
black market coupon exchange
I mean honestly go back to the Christmas in july event thread and you will see tons of posts asking for the coupon exchange to be back with more perm weapons. I mean honestly why dont they listen to their players? Sure a mod will probably comment under this with a low intellect post saying that z8 games is always trying to improve crossfire, but in reality what things good has z8 games done for the benefit for the community in the past month?
-Sub assault map (not many people enjoy that)
-Christmas in july event (not many people are fond of spending 40$ for a 0.01% chance to win crates)
-[CF]Friday the 13th Fight Night! (too many hackers in knife matches whats the point?)
and many other useless updates that no one cares about. (dreaded m12s update <.<)
what have they done good with?
-various no death and free item give aways
-summer stock up (i liked that)

This is an OPINION of mine on what has been good for crossfire and bad
I think cf needs to
-fix coupon exchange (perm axe,M4CC,aug camo,Deagle camo)
-add maybe 1 more gp crate
-listen to what the players want not to what their wallets want.
-give more gp for every game completed
-make the black market odds slightly better ( i understand its gambling so it wont happen >.>)
-Try to make the servers segregated as in 20+ south american servers for brs and 20+ na servers (this wont happen )
-Possibly have servers with ping limits like 50-100 ping server 100-150 ping server 150+ ping server
-get rid of hacking.. this is actually pretty hard so ill let that one float a bit
-Have an ingame report system where you can submit reports and put replay data on it
-more crosshairs? i mean ive played 2.5 years and there is still only 3.
It would be great if crossfire could focus on what i have stated above than just focusing on over priced events and dumb updates (im not saying all are dumb, just the majority of them)

Z8 is a company that needs to make money to pay for GMs, support team and the server. Of course they'll do stuff that we don't like but we can't blame them, CF NA is a small game compared to COD/Halo whose fanbase is much bigger. Money doesn't grow on trees.
I doubt we would ever get in game reporting because so many people don't know the difference between skill and hacking.
Who needs more crosshairs, the ones we have right now are great IMO. -

Sure they need to make money but my money doesn't grow on trees either, and as they make worse and worse decisions and I vote with my wallet others should and do too. -
In game reporting of h@ckers is about the only thing that would really change the community in anyway the rest of it is well things that change all the time anyways about monthly and they are working to mix it up to make it interesting.
Anyone who can follow that train of thought deserves a metal xD HDHD anyone.:p
Gp crates take about 4 months for new guns to come out and gp guns take about 3-6-8 months for something new and usable by a majority of players to come out. Coupons well they are meant to be mixed up and every know and then otherwise people would get all of the guns and woudln't have any motivation to buy any crates after a while. -

But they do have motivation when getting nothing in return?
I would of thought having loads of perm coupons weapons in the exchange and owning them all and having nothing to spend coupons on and being bored is better than getting a load of temp stuff that expires leaving you with nothing and bored. -
they are a lots of perm guns they just aren't cheap as the temp stuff. Ask anyone who has bought the temp guns some of them are better than the perm stuff they had in their before.Ruger Bisley shoots like a deagle and has the accuracy of the andaconda. the Wrench is a fun melee, and so on they are their for fun.xD

Well they try to fix this but the problem is this game is free2play, hackers get banned and they come back again. Other games like Call of Duty or Counter Strike cost money, when you get banned from them you can't play them online again and you have to re buy the whole game. Do you really think that the z8games team will come in here and say something like "We don't give a **** about your opinion!", of curse they will tell some lie to calm down the fans.
Just like EA, people asked why they can't have a map editor for Battlefield 3 and they just said that most people wont use the editor anyway and they want to concentrate on more important things like bug fixes.
This is complete bulls* and every other company is saying the same, they wont come up and say "we don't give you guys a map editor because we want to create the maps ourselves and sell them as dlcs.".
The z8game team will say that this change is good, but don't believe them or any other company, they are our enemies.
I think they changed the coupon because this way people will spend more money on zp. The de scope crates have been removed, this means no free coupons. Well they can't pay the servers with your dreams, they need money and that's why they screw us.

ಠ_ಠ Counter Strike has only 1 crosshair, why would you need more?
