Shotgun only mode?
Title explains itself..
Or maybe a shotgun/sniper mode like in Gears of War etc...
Shotguns are rarely ever used in any game mode, I mean their used a little in GM but that's the only exception.. So maybe with this mode people will be more encouraged to save up their gp and/or zp to get one.
Idk just some thoughts.

A Shotgun-only mode would definetely favor the people who got a ZP or BM coupon Shotgun, which are a good bit more powerful than those for GP... so no, no Shotgun-only mode.
Unless....
Z8! Request a GP crate Shotgun from SmileGAYte... Let it be as powerful in its class as R93 is the sniping department and we're good.
Anyway, we really need a GP crate Shotgun!

You make a good point, but people can always pick up the zp shotguns off the ground anyways and use them as well

Isn't that the case for all the weapon exclusive modes? Kukri's dominate melee only, the Mauser rips apart everyone in Sniper only, and the AWM Camo, DSR Rusty, and FR-F2 are better than practically all the snipers in the game.
+1 to the idea though. It'd be nice to actually use a Shotgun in a game other than when I'm in a private room. They're just too unconventional to use in normal modes, other than GM. -

Wouldn't mind a shotgun only mode for TDM.
Got Melee, Pistol, and Sniper already.
And no, only the Jackhammer dominates as a shotgun.
The rest are all about equal to each other balance wise.
XM1014, Fire rate.
Spas-12, Ammo and wide spray. (Wide spray both good and bad, good because it easier to hit targets, bad because it does less damage on average thanks to pellets that miss)
Dual Desp, Tight Spray and clip reload but low ammo.
Stakeout, A Spas that trades clip size for tighter spray.
Stakeout Hellfire, a Spas that has a tighter spray.
Jackhammer-H, Does way more damage and has the most ammo with a clip reload. -
What we need is a single shot shotgun, that makes like 80 damage on upper body and 100 on head.
Why is this fun?
You have to be careful because you can make only one shot and if you miss his head you risk to die because your enemy could hit your head.
once we have a shotgun like that we can have a sniper vs shotgun match. With the current shotguns you can spray like a total ret*rd.
There are a few maps like that for half life, there was one with the grauss gun (sniper) and the shotgun only.
