honorable ribbon server

Will you ever consider making one of the underused u.s. servers to be 'honorable ribbon' only server. Most of the players i report, dont have the ribbon. I wonder why (sarcasm). The take the slap on the hand and couple of days 'ban' and come back with the latest vip. I know the problema will still be there, but it will limit it.

  • no. some people didnt get banned for hacking but for insulting or something.
then you would ban those out of the server because they been rude or trolled someone and they toke it personal like kids that cant get over it thats just a game.

True, however, in some choice games, I find 'Trolls' and other rude subjects to be an even larger problem than hackers. With this said, I would rather play against some friendly, well-rounded guys and girls that have a positive attitude, and are over the ago of 12 (Possibly not literally, but at least not a spoiled brat.
  • um -1. i never hacked but i got reported... for insulting 3 years ago. got banned for 3 days. so.... yeah -1
  • -1. Everyone moves to the server, and all the players who got banned for insulting and chargebacks are faced with a hackfest.

thats true but like bob said each person that got banned for insulting would have to play with hackers or with other insulting people.
if they had to do that then they wouldnt stay and Z8 lose zp and done.

Isn't the solution to make a separation of honour ribbon so that game-play bans for hacking or in game trolling are treated differently from forum bans or some of the other bans associated with account management etc...

I like the idea of a channel for honour ribbon only IF its based on hacking or game-play infractions.

I think that a minimum rank should also be part of it, so that anyone who still qualifies to play Training channels could not participate in the honour channel

There are other ways to lose your honorable soldier ribbon han just hacking.
  • +1 there is no good or legit way to lose the ribbon.

you're either a hack user, glitcher, harasser, or scammer. none of which i want to play with.

Well i know several people who lost account to scammers or friends who then betray and hack on them, and the person gets account banned and looses ribbon - and there are other variants with no gameplay involved.

And sure, they shouldn't be talking about their account to ANYONE but fact is, some of the young ambitious kids do... and then they get a double penalty.

So I would rather see some granularity in how these bans are treated and recognised to distinguish them from in game hacking.

So honour server based on clean game-play - not over some forum infraction for example.

    Exactly.

    I agree with this.

    Glitcher.
    Blocker.
Fraudster (chargeback/giving false info and defrauding survey companies).
    Scammer.
    Hacker.
    Rude and insulting, racist.

oh well there are reasons for rules. chargebacks/scamming. is i would say, the worst of all offenses. account sharing can also fall under scamming as g4box is losing out on money. which in the end, has the biggest affect on the game(and real life). where as using hacks/glitching could just make the game 'unplayable' for an often short period of time.

you won't lose the ribbon from a petty forum violation. you won't lose it even if you get banned from the forums for a while. you would have to do something so bad, you get the GMs attention. such as posting ****ographic material everywhere pow3rslide style.

a server for players that have never been caught cheating is good. but i say let the bug exploiters, motor mouths, and thieves go with them.

actually... what's the point of this talk? people that have been caught using hacks should just be perm banned, lol

treu and there should be max of making accounts so those who got banned for hacking cant keep making accounts and start over. then the ban dont really got any use if they just could make a new account and play again.
  • -1 you can lose your honorable ribbon in many different ways.

But if you don't have it your no longer an honorable soldier that is just how it is, just like the ribbon goes bye bye so do access to the server.

My friend lost his ribbon for charge back.

if he/she legitimately lost it this way - which is far more rare than the amount of people who claim - he/she can send a support ticket (with proof) to get the ribbon back.

if not, then he/she tried to pull a fast one on g4box in which case should not be allowed on the pure server.
  • My opinion is neutral on this. Because, like some of the people here have said, you can lose your ribbon in many different ways. So it wouldn't be fair that they couldn't go on the server for losing it over something minor like insulting someone. Everyone insults someone in this game sometime that's how this game is and that's how people are.

    I agree. lol @ pow3rslide; i remember that

And anyway, even if there were this server, it wouldnt mean Honorable Soldiers wouldnt play in alpha, bravo, etc. anymore. It just provides a haven for legit players in times of need (used to be many such periods of time, luckily not so much anymore). nor does such a server condemn non-hacking players w/o the HSR to playing with only hackers, scammers, and rude little kids (at least, to any significantly greater extent than is already the case)

xD. You people are crazy. See a hacker? Go look at his profile. Guarantee he has Honorable. That's why they still hack, they haven't had any penalty for hacking yet. You would just get a bunch of low rank/high ping hackers in there---DEFEATING THE PURPOSE ALL TOGETHER. Also, plenty of veterans that don't hack also don't have honorable. O.o I'm not in favor of this. Unnecessary and would not be very popular.
  • Sure many do but even more do not due to the auto ban system^
