Change badclanname5552 back to bath_salt!

Recently a Gm has changed bath_salt's name to badclanname5552 for "In-Appropriate use of a clan name". Bath Salt is found to be 100% legal. Not only did they change it to badclanname5552 they never gave the leader a reason why they changed or gave him any options.. Such as giving him a date to change the name or giving him a namechange for free since they decided to change it. They made deadlyviper go through all the trouble by sending a support ticket and waiting 2 days for a response, when clearly the gm's were the ones that changed it. If you believe that their name should be changed back to bath_salt the stand up and simply reply +1 for the suggestion. Recently deadlyviper, the leader of badclanname5552 or Bath_salt was forced to make a new clan name because he could simply not afford to buy zp. Let alone spending money on a game that cheated him when they changed his name. If you ask me it looks like they're just trying to make money off of changing their name. This is totally unacceptable and should be changed back now!

Note that this is a legitament suggestion. If this thread were to be deleted or closed it will show how pathetic and selfish the MOD's & GM's are.

because of the drug thats called bath salt and with the press about the guy on that drug that was eating the other guys face in flordia. i think it a good move you guys can think of a better name

Spamming our support systems, forums and Private Messages from clan members saying the exact same thing over and over again unfortunately won't get you very far either.

We are sorry if you feel that the name change has taken away your identity. However there are plenty of names out there that don't involve drugs that could be used to create your own space in the Cross Fire world!

Unfortunately, regardless of the truth behind the unfortunate incident that brutal and violent act has been associated with the use of the drug, and the name of that drug is now front and center in many meme's and other such internet slang and use. Under those pretenses we had to remove the clan name. Even though you can justify it's unique or circumstantial use, some users obviously took offense to the name because it was reported to us.

Again we apologize for this, but you'll have to find another name!

You don't have us to blame for this, instead you can blame the mass media and sensationalism that this gruesome story caused. However, it will not change the fact that you should still find another name to use. In this case it was reported and we made the judgment call and changed the name.

It should also be noted that petitions are not allowed on these forums for this very reason.

The judgment call was made within our Terms of Use under Naming Conventions. The name was changed, and posting here to try and gain some sort of public support for the matter is not going to change that ruling.
