This was already tried. It led to massive spamming of the forums and was removed because of that.

Actually they tried this. But everyone just spammed the forum to get 1K posts xD

They had it a while ago, was called "Military Intelligence" and it led to nothing but the forums being spammed. They could make an event, like a GM room where everyone there gets a code to receive the ribbon, but only advertise it on the forums. .-.

But this was tried previously - it resulted in LOTS of spam all over the forums...was not fun...
