I can still do a backwards bunny hop. Idk about yall but i can. I also really havent tried the forward bunny hop. All im saying is bunny hoping is way harder now even tho idk if its a bug or not.

It's the other way around, is a lot easier now. -
I liked the old timing better but I guess this adds something new to GM to keep us all interested. I love how badly you fail when you try the slow bunny hop from before but the 4th gen (or the "speed bunny" as I call it) is fun to do now - it was pretty awesome to get the 4th gen with the old timing though : (
Also I think the argument is about ghosts staying invisible while doing the hops, not about them using the bunny hop (because GR can hop too). The devs probably never meant for players to be able to skip off the ground like we can but I don't see it ever being changed. If they changed the invisible bunny hop in GM then they should have all the bunny hops in the game fixed because they all give some kind of advantage (DJ - get up on boxes and higher places, no dmg fall - no hp damage/no sound on fall, reg bunny hop - move silently in any game mode/no footsteps).
One more comment about the ghost breath and the bunny hop... I've always seemed to hear ghosts sneaking up with the slow bunny but if someone is coming with the 4th gen, I probably wouldnt even be able to hear in time if I was just standing there waiting for it lol -
IJ is a bug that turned into somewhat of a skillset so the Dev's have yet to see a reason to remove it as it's become an integral part of the game mechanics in ghost mode.
That's how I see it.
Fixed, and that's all I was saying. It IS a bug that they are leaving in the game.
NOW I'm done with this thread as it is going round and round with people that have no idea what they are talking about.
I really wish one of the GMS would chime in here and set the record straight so you people that don't know what a bug is will get some education on the subject.

This new update never made me happy and I was never interested on the update. On the first game I played after the patch, I was like wt.f, jumping is ruined. Then I noticed that you cant bunnyhop like before and I tho, this is ***. Now everyone bunnyhops on bl. It is only in the game because an exact combination of actions makes it happen. It was discovered, NOT implimented in game design. THAT is called a bug.

They nerfed the backwards timing, made it a lot faster.
Pretty much got to spam space to keep a backwards going now.
And FBH as you know got much easier.
Looks like they just reversed the jump physics.
Forwards became like old-backwards and backwards became like the old-forwards.
I don't really see a reason to do that
