The usage of custom gun skins is not condoned nor tolerated by Z8Games and the Z8Games Forum Moderating Team.

What is a custom gun skin? Any skin other than the default one that everyone else uses.

Even though it is client sided [only you can see it] it is forbidden for more than one reason.

One simply being:

You must use a .rez file editor which requires a bypass of XTrap, our anti-cheat.
This is bannable for bypassing, and we are stepping our foot down.

If you are caught, you will be reported by either the players on the forums or by a moderator.

The simple answer is to not do it.

If the gun doesn't look like it should on a new fresh install of Cross Fire NA/UK from Z8Games, you're wrong and you should re-install in the interest of your account.
