    Good luck, wrong section though.

    Close enough.
  • If you're looking for a clan ( which I doubt ) post it in the clan recruitment section.
If you're looking for a team post it in the " looking for a team? Section"

    ot: good luck.
  • You're not gonna get a UK Team really, EU Scene is pretty much dead.
If you want to play still, find an NA Team and play there. You could also try and get an account on Crossfire eu if you get someone to make your account apparently, other than that good luck.

mmhmmm nice life you have there.

actually yeah, i reckon it would be a nice life. being able to go to places by just playing video games... mhm, not bad.

i personally have a gf, the finest education possible for my age and i go out with friends every week, but i'm still going to lan for css. lan would kind of count for me, not so much only as a chance to win a prize, but also as a social event. you do realize if you go to properlans you don't sit about on your arse playing video games all day, right? there's a 'party aspect' to it as well.

I barely give a **** about what you have to say. Your girlfriend is probably ugly as **** and I barely play this game so I don't give a **** about LANs.... If you did some research, a professional gamer only earns at most 60k a year. That's just a little bit above average so I don't consider it to be anything worthwhile. I can pay for a plane ticket; it's not that expensive.... 2-3k a trip is typically average for all I care. Yes, it is a very exciting party lmao.... Playing CSS with a bunch of sweaty nerds to prove that you're the best? That's what I consider to be an Phenomenal party! Since your education is so fine... What school do you go to? So playing for 30 minutes a day is a lot?

60k earned by just playing a game.. isn't that bad... besides.. you dont have to play games all day to be good at it.. it is possible to be a born talent.. that means it would be 60K+(whatever your salary is) earned each year...

Actually, the maximum you can earn is 60k. With all your sponsors, winnings and earnings combined. That means if you don't win as much as last year, you won't make as much. That's considering if there are leagues out.... With WCG dead, you basically lost one of the biggest providers to Cross Fire. Also, you cannot focus on one game. Cross Fire only has a tournament that wins real life cash once a year ($50 winning)..... You probably have to play CSS, COD, Battlefield and Crossfire combined (And win 1st place) just to earn a few bucks. Typically a gamer probably wouldn't even earn more than the gear they are provided.... Those no-lives from Fg.hammertime only get paid with the WCG win (about a few hundred dollars) and the cheap gaming gear (another hundred). Also, their computers aren't provided. Considering that they customize their computers just to get a little extra advantage. The winnings only gave them at most $1000, and their computer cost them more than $2000. Basically, they lost money, time and effort just by playing in the league. I’d rather study hard in school and get an above average job, rather than playing non-stop everyday just to get sponsored and win a $50 league

in any case none of what you're saying has any actual relevance to what verm said so why do you continue to post?

no, it's not. verm was saying that's it's very possible (and easy) to balance life and competitive gaming.

you're saying that competitive gaming isn't a viable career.

    and you're an idiot.

He was talking about a competitive career.... Like in wcg, where they won a free trip to ching-chong China.
  • And does it matter? I was responding to AntiTrollism....

    errm, what?

ask delnee about my gf, he's a fan.
the parties i go to surely are better than any you've been to.
why would you assume a lan party is the party i'm talking about? you're a nerd.
i'm pretty rich and i don't care about a 5k prize as i can just pull it out of my bank account.

    no, i wasn't. dag's interpretation was 100% correct.

and btw, since when is 60k a year bad? i reckon it's more than you're ever going to make considering you have no education otherwise you would think before you type.

You didn't answer my question.... What school do you go to? What's your job? And post a photo of your seemingly attractive girlfriend. At least I still go to school unlike you..... Your life is set and whatever you are now is what you'll be for your entire life. Read my last post before you start posting........ Btw I said that you wouldn't be able to earn 60k a year, no matter how good you are nor how many sponsors you have...

school system over here is different, next year i'll be attending a university (which specializes in dentistry) known to be good not too far away from me, not really sure why you would want to know that. considering i'm at school from 8:30 AM until 4:30 PM more than half of the time, i really can't afford to have a fulltime job so i work retail parttime and make about 500 euro a month (which is above average for the amount of hours i work).

although i don't really need the money, as my dad pays all my bills because i'm not such a third world monkey like you and my dad actually has a proper income, i use half of it to spend on going out/games and save the other half.
