download the latest version game client

go to Program files>Z8games>Crossfire folder in your C Drive >> open version.ini with notepad >> change current version from 1073 to 1074 >> save file >> right click on file and make it as read only >> click apply >> ok

This should fix your problem

Sound of steps and guns

Hi, I have a big problem with sound in Crossfire ,when i enter in game i heard the music when i clik on the servers chanels ,when i enter in room but the steps and shoot of guns i dont heared ,when a true a granade i heared fire in the ..... but nothing steps and fired if guns i heard when i kill some one and head shoot and that laugh when i kill some one.pls help me i have windows 8.1.with uder games i dont have problems with sound.Thankyou for your support,pls help me!
