Gifting Guns in Cross Fire
I have been thinking about the idea of being able to gift guns in cross fire.
I think in order for this to work there must be restrictions.
#1 Only Black Market GP, ZP and coupon guns and perhaps bonus item mall guns should be allowed to be gifted, if the owner has MORE than 1 of each.
#2 Only 1 gun can be gifted to any IGN from the owner. This will keep people from gifting multiple guns from their main accounts to a secondary. But the owner of multiple copies of the listed guns may gift to different IGNs.
#3 I think there should be a ribbon given to sender and receiver much like the gifting zp ribbon. Perhaps a name like, Pass The Ammunition ribbon.
#4 This should be a limited time event. Like once per year, Thanks giving maybe.
The limitations would keep Z8 from losing money. Why?
I spend a lot on zp and gp, I now own all black market gp guns as well as coupon guns.
I enjoy the fun of spinning crates but with no reason to keep trying I will just stop spending. If I knew that I would be able to gift a second or third copy of my guns to clan mates and friends who have less money to spend in game. I would continue to try and win multiple copies. I am certain I am not the only one. I think encouraging people who do spend money on cross fire now by allowing them to help their friends is a better bet than waiting for new people to catch up.
One more thing. It would be nice to see some new items in the Black Market GP items as well as the coupon exchange. And adding guns to bonus items is a sure way to encourage the purchase of zp.

i agree with this idea it would nice and as previously stated once a year such as thanksgiving would be awesome cause it is the time of giving. And the ribbon love the "name pass the ammunition" awesome name i would also like to help friends out who cant either afford to buy zp or just dont have any luck with BM out on there inventory

With the amount of people who are considering leaving cross fire, I think it is important for Z8 to implement some new ideas. Advertising items hoping for new consumers is ok. But giving solid reasons for current clients to continue spending and enjoying measure like the black market that are already in place is much for cost effective. This all so keeps the current clients from losing interest. -

You're just angry that there is just me who's disagreeing to this idea. Trust me, I'd be glad If I can do it as well, but there's a very low chance that this happens. If anything, it's pretty much like suggesting a new gun in this forum. The Devs Don't Look at it, nor would they Ever look in this Hell-hole of trolls.

OT : People have been leaving as well as have been entering Cross Fire. Z8Games has implemented some new ideas such has having a new way to pay, which gives more freedom for users, as well as the patch they give out nearly every 3 months. If anything, Z8Games has a less interest on the players feelings on the game but rather on the money. -

Sometimes you just have to face reality. If you use the search bar, there have been hundreds of these types of threads. Most of them has been denied, and there's probably a decent reason for all of them.
Even if this "Gifting Gun" event happens, it can be abused a lot. You never know who's the more desperate, but it can happen. -

how can it be abused if u read the thread the user can gift 1 gun 2 1 IGN and u have to have 2 of the gun your going to gift in order to gift it. -

And believe me. I have TRIED to think of cons. Brutal here throughly explained his plan.

The reason it would be interesting for Z8 to consider is that the people who spend real money on this game eventually stop. Why? They have all that they need or wanted from in game items.
Example: If a person spends $2500 to get all the Black Market items in one year. Then after that year they drop to spending $250 for armor and EXP + items. Z8 must now find another big spender to continue generating the same income. Not easy to do. If Z8 gets the same spender interested in being able to gift his clan mates and friends the same items that he has for himself, he may spend $1250 the following year.
Why not just gift his friends the ZP?
Because there is a good feeling that comes from winning a crate gun. Your friend or clan mate may not win a gun and then it seems like a waist or you have given them a felling of being disappointed. They are not as lucky as you.
To gift someone a gun that you have 2 of feels good. The money was still spent to win the gun. The spender has the joy of trying to win and Z8 is more likely to get money from a current spender than to find new ones. -
Their should be a option next to "buy" called "buy as gift" or something like that and you CANT use that weapon if you bought it as a gift you can only send it IF that person has the rank requirement of the weapon , For black market GP weapons (Or other GP weapons from coupons) their should be a rank requirement of SFC-1 or higher to gift that weapon away "This option would be in your storage to gift" then the person who your gifting to must also be SFC-1 or higher , For ZP black market weapons (Or other ZP weapons from coupons) Their should be a requirement of SFC-4 or probably higher , I guess you could also gift ZP temp weapons and coupon temp weapons as their would be a buy as gift option , You need to be ATLEAST Staff Sergeant 1st to gift any weapon at all though

I agree that keeping all rule for using guns as they stand should be kept the same. This will keep people from gifting guns to a new account for themselves. I all so think it is important that they NOT allow gifting of GP item shop or temporary zp weapons. The item shop weapons give players some thing to look forward to earning on their own. If it is limited to only multiple owned black market GP, ZP and coupon weapons and perhaps bonus point weapons then Z8 will not lose money on rentals. If the guns are paid for it wont matter who bought them. The idea here is not for a company to lose money. But to keep clients who spend money interested.

Is there no one from marketing or promotion in Z8 that can see the potential for revenue here?
I believe this gun gifting exists on another service provider for cross fire?
If so then G4Box.inc already has the programing for it. Just ask them for it.
If another provider is using this gun gifting, I'm certain it's not to lose money. -
I think Z8 is scared, aswell they should be. If they introduce gun gifted, dumb kids with give their "friends" their account, or possibly some kids may even get randomly hacked... (so they say)... this will result in the hacker to gift himself all of the guns, and if you have every gun in the game then get hacked, im sure ur mommy or daddy wouldn't like u losing ur account that u just spent like $1000 over. So, to avoid lawsuits, Z8 should just stay away from gun gifting. Go buy zp, get ur own guns. Close thread pl0x.

Oh new idea, unless they introduce something new... for example a pricing strategy. Whatever Z8 thinks the golden m4 is worst.... for example 200k gp.... they should make the person that he is gifting to him, either give him 200k gp, or collateral of other guns that equal to 200k, like 5 normal m4's. That is all.

This is why I was saying only able to gift a second copy of the gun. And only 1 gun to any IGN.
Example: let's say I won 3 Tommy guns while trying for the winny.
I would be able to gift 1 of them to IGN *-_BIGDOG_-*
I would be able to gift 1 of them to IGN *Giggletron* LOL
And I must keep 1 for myself.
if I had other multiple guns, I would not be able to gift them to, *-_BIGDOG_-* or *Giggletron*
1 gifted gun from my IGN to any other IGN, that would keep people from losing their guns even if they are hacked. It would keep people from abusing gun gifting by sending all copies of their guns to their own secondary accounts.
And how many accounts do you think a hacker could steal from in 1 day.
Also, z8 is not responsible for stupid people who give out their ID and pass word. They can't be taken to court because people are stupid. It's not a valid reason not to host a gun gifting day or event. -

So far, so good.
But what u do about handguns? People might want to have 2-4 pistols and if u get hack and the hacker sells every pistol except one then u're screwed.
EDIT: and what if ur friend gives u one of his 2 thompsons or idk now. And well in a patch about 2 years later there a really good gun that u wanna have too and ur friend won 2 of it , but u cant get it cz u already got his thompson that u never use anyways. what u do now ?;D -

I can see that you have not read or you do not understand the conditions and limitations that are suggested in this post. You only post negative crap because your NOT SMART enough to think of any real ideas that could be discussed.
I understand that many people have asked for gun gifting before. Many people have opened threads to ask and beg for it.This post however is looking at the possibility of Z8 hosting a gun gifting event that creates revenue while protecting the existing one.

I am sorry, It just seems lately that people don't want to talk about making cross fire better.
I am so tiered of people spamming the forums with, NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN and or STUPID IDEA. The idea of not changing any thing in cross fire because the hack monster will take over, is starting to **** me off. Hackers should be addressed in another tread PLEASE. -

Really it would be great if they make it.
I think the idea has been around a long time. Yes other games have had great success with similar programs. It comes down to helping Z8 understand that the reason other games do this is that they make money. Last time I checked Z8 likes making money, so why are they not making this happen? -

agrees brutal obviously started this thread to get oppinions of the players of crossfire, and when i say oppinion i mean why or why not u agree or diagree its cmon sense there no need for someone to put in the biggest font possible it will never happen back up your answer.
