:eek:I think that we should be given at least one chance. I screwed up and used a hack someone offered me for 5 days and was banned for it for 7 days. Believe me I learned my lesson, I will never use a hack again. For those of us who have learned by our mistakes the first time is the any way to earn back the respect of CrossFire and the players. My account means to much for me to lose it and I have far to much time and zp invested to ever take the chance again. Besides I really hate hackers and really wished I'd never done it.

This was a very long time ago. There was no thoughts of ribbons back then.

In canada, you can't be sentenced to death, and when you're sentenced to a life of prison, they may let you out under conditions.

k, for the poster who originally posted about murderers and death sentences, what a noob cause it isn't that serious of a thing that the OP did...

also, hackers make the CHOICE to use the hack, and in my book would disqualify them of any second chance. They do not need to learn any lesson, they KNEW what they were getting themselves into

Just never ever use the hack. In this world, it is always much harder to build up things than to ruin them. Reputation is one example.

I suggest you to start a new account. Because even you might gain the honorable ribbon by some meaning, those who have played with when you were hacking will never change the impression. And "once a hacker, always a hacker". So with the old account, you can never regain the reputation again.

So just start an new account, and remember, if you have to test hack code, you will never have reputation any more.
