Crossfire wont start ... :(
So ... basically,when i start Crossfire (Click the icon,then "START") The XTrap update comes up,everything is all right. And when HGW game watcher finally loads to 100%,Step 10 it disappears and nothing happens. I can wait for hours and theres only a process called : HGWC.exe The game wont open.
Some additional info: I live in UK - Does this change anything?
I played crossfire over 1 and a half year ago.
My computer has 1 GIG ram ...
Intel Pentium 4,3.00GHZ
I just downloaded some Radeon Drivers from a site which i found in some other "helpful" threads.
Any help? :<

I have the same problem.... Have you tried to reinstal CrossFire? At me Works.... once.... -
You probably have an instance of game watcher running in the back ground, do ctrl+alt+del then go to processes and see if its listed. If it is stop the process and if you run internet security make sure you have an exception made for crossfire in your firewall before you try to run it again. do a restart if necessary or possibly reinstall. I'd say your problem lies within not haveing an exception set. Also make sure you run it as admin for vista up.

After installing the new driver my graphics FUC**D up as hell so i had to uninstall the Catalyst Radeon and install my old drivers. Its still the same
You probably installed the wrong software. Find out if its ATI or Nvidia. If its Nvidia there's a new patch for those cards, seperate from the driver its self you'll need to install. Is your graphics card onboard or aftermarket expansion, and what are the spec's on it? You may pm me the answers if needed. -
I have ATI Radeon x300 ... I AM sure i had downloaded the right drivers
Can you be more specific? I dont speak English properly
Are you running internet security software, a firewall? If so all you have to is create an exception for crossfire. Same thing with an antivirus software, cf wont start if there isnt an exception made for it. -
I have the same problem except after it says:
Crossfire Error
Send Error Report
I've uninstalled and reinstalled around 6 times by now. This happened to me like a week or two after the hero mode patch.
Somehow it still works when I run CF in compatibility mode with Windows 2003 but it causes my ping to spike from like 60-300s
My ping is normally 38. I use Windows 7 64 bit. I hope someone knows how to fix this. =] -
I have big problem too , after patch I can play only in UK servers and now I cant to play anymore , yesterday I was banned for 2 hours saying that I was using hacck and this is not true , today I cant to play when I log say a message you cant to access test server .
I reinstalled cf again but nothing happen.
I am sad -

if you keep using hack's
you will keep incountering this problem
(and it doesn't matter if you hack on a alt account)
i don't get why myself and all my friends
who play legit on different operating systems never encounter these types of problems
i just dont get it i really dont
