High pings
Hi.
I waited for a while, because I thought this might be fixed.
Well, I waited for a few months, a few patches and the problem is still not fixed.
There was a patch in October or November that made me lag. I had ±20 ping in UK1 and UK2 and ±30 ping in UK3 and UK4.
But then came the evil UK5. A mean server wich made me lag on UK1, 2 and 5.
My ping in UK1, UK2 and UK5 is now 200+!!!!!!
My ping in UK3 and UK4 is around 40.. And I spike-lag to 60 the whole time.
What is causing this problem, and when is this going to be fixed?!
I know I'm not the only one with this problem..

I've played with 29 before while I normally have a 63, there is a fair bit of difference. Regardless, 60 ping isn't too high. I've played forum games on the uk server with a 130 ping and I still do pretty well.

Its honestly not that bad all shots still reg and no one else laggs
Ive played in uk at 100 and nothing different than alpha where im at 40 the only difference was that there were 300 ping people speaking Portuguese -

Yes there were decent people there.
I've played some NA matches with high ping. I can spray with Uzi's and such, but sniping is impossible.
What's your IGN? Maybe I've played with you before.

I find spraying impossible with only accurate shots working. Sniping can be rough at times. I doubt you've played with me but anyways.

It's their routers causing the problems, because for some of the EU players, packets to UK servers are going through broken cogent's routers.
I'm planning to mail them a huge ass complaint about it.
Do this:
Start -> Run -> cmd.exe -> type in: tracert 149.7.36.231 (it's UK1's IP)
screenshot the results and post them here. Basically your ISP should fix the problem, I tried calling my ISP but they refused to do so. Polish ISPs ftl. -

Thanks for trying, but I'm not even able to traceroute the server. I get time-outs only. I am able to ping that server and that's with the same MS as ingame.
