I've rarley ever had serious problems with anyone unless they were butter or silver bars.
And Majors made my old clan ([XLR]Black) leave clan rooms like nobodies business... -
i dont really take into account ranks
i look more at weapon choice and play style
rank just means 1) they play alot or 2) they've been around awhile
neither of which directly translates into being skilled
yes it does....
the more u play the more u gain expierince in the game and learn some skills -
In-game. Whether it's a staff sergeant, SFC, Butter bar, 1st LT, captain, major etc.
What's the first thing that comes to your head?
1. He just plays a lot.
2. He's obviously a farmer.
3. He must be very skilled.
4. He must suck horribad.
5. Ehh, He's just like anyone else.
6. Other (choose your own opinion)
Care to explain why you chose it?
Just curious.. I want to see what the community thinks.
And I don't mean those eagle and star ranks.. Cause we all know they farm.
The ranks below them.The fact I hate is tht in a room lobby if players come and see on a team players with LT+ rank they all wait to join that team. Just because they see the high rank and thing they will be in the better team.

playing alot doesn't make you good
neither does playing for a long time
there are players who have played since open beta in march of 09 who are still horrible.
there are also players who play 4-5 hours a day and are also horrible
skill comes down to 2 things
1)hand eye coordination
2)using your brain
neither of which depend on how long or how often you have played
one of the best players in my clan has played for just over a month. -

True, there ranks is used to make believe the are just skilled
But the just use VIP hack
And the use it really smart like
But you will find patterents
Like;
The use a normal gun and shoot and change to hand gun shoot 2 times than the active there aimbot and headshot someone
And you will see the do this like every round than you will start going like hmmm ya right again..
Any way ranking doesn't not mean allot to me but it encourages to play on
When you need like 10k exp for next lvl I get hyped xD -
i dont look at people's rank because some times when you C master sargs above above and yet they are very noob.. and some times u C rookies (pros starting a new account ) it is ace every match.
ranks mean nothing and badges dont either. because with all the hack3rs and farmers these days ..... (sigh. speach lessxD) -
Your perspective on rank changes throughout the game. When you begin to play, you think to yourself, I want to be better then these people in the game. So you work to get your rank up higher. Then once you hit Master Sergeant or Butter Bar, you start to wonder if your actually better then others. Rather then just looking better. I use to always worry about rank but I can be a smiley face rank and do as good on my main. My main just has better guns ^^

but sum1 wanted me kicked and when a clanmate asked why he said it was cuz my rank is too high LOL.
i more look at the ping and the clan
but i suppose i dont take any1 under master sgt seriously at all but every1 higher then that is the same -
Well if he is new member so that smiley or somethink it's kinda wird that he would give you head shot so fast ... but if he is MASTER SERGEANT or somethink like that you can understand that he have experience and he could do that so he probably isn't a hacker or whatever.
So yeah i think on his experience and he played preety nice time to earn this rank so he is not newb anymore but he is becoming pro like others do.
