Welcome to Urban Warfare! The newest addition to the Cross Fire Community.

On Wednesdays, the Urban Warfare Newsletter will be here to give the CF Community a place to check out the latest happenings. Competitive play, casual matches and forum spotlights will be placed here as well as information on promotions, features for fansites or clans and much more! The first few newsletters will be every Wednesday. But expect this to be a bi-weekly feature on the forums.

We also intend to add things like weapon and map reviews, post spotlights, information on promotions or events and various other Cross Fire happenings.

So without further ado lets get to the First Urban Warfare!

Competitive Updates

There is a lot going on right now in the competitive community. Both WOGL-Pro and WOGL-Open leagues are underway. You can following along with the standings on their pages at the WOGL Site. You can also follow along with some of the predictions and trash talk going on in our own forums. Remember to keep that trash talk clean!

The CFCL is doing weekly drafts now, check out their extensive rules thread and information about vent servers here. They also have a website up located at http://combatfps.com. And join in on their latest draft for Escape Mode here!

Germany and the EU are also getting in to the competitive scene. Crossfire Germany is hosting their summer cup! Check out the rules and prizes here!

New competitive leagues and groups are forming every day. We will be featuring as many as we can in future editions of Urban Warfare so stay tuned for news of them in UW episode 2!

Community Happenings

The community is alive and well! The forums are buzzing every day from topics debating who might be better than LolliRoger to the eternal quest for skilled players who apparently don't farm.

Sebbern has also kindly reviewed some destination hot-spots in Cross Fire. Care to vacation in Ship? Or on EagleEyes? Maybe take a trip to Africa to visit the Research Facility! We highly recommend bringing some gravol to them all as the action gets a little intense!

Escape Mode is now out! Us3rK has provided everyone with a pretty in-depth look into the mode here. And say hello our very own [MOD]D3ad3y3 while he says hello to the newest weapon in CF, the Gatling Gun.

Or here's a challenge for you! See if you can get over 50 kills in every map! BlindEagle has taken on this challenge, are you up to it?

Featured Fansite or Clan

Cross Fire will be doing more to help the fans and players who have their own CF-related websites. In addition to an upcoming "Fansite Page" and updates to the "Fansite Media Package", we will on occasion feature sites or clans for Cross Fire here in Urban Warfare. These can be anything from Well known Clans, to League sites, to clan web-pages or multi-national Cross Fire Sites anything that deserves a shout-out from us can make its way to here!

This week we are featuring the German Cross Fire site, Crossfire-Germany.eu. A staple for EU Cross Fire players, they are celebrating their 1 year anniversary this summer! If you're a German Cross Fire player and want to get involved in the German and EU community you should check them out!
