March Mutant Madness - March 10th

Attention Mercs,

The mutant menace has surged once again, and with this surge it has brought forth two terrible new creations, the Jiang Shi and the Armored Mutant. Not even our most elite soldiers can stand against these new threats.

However, we are not yet beaten. The brainiacs from command have cooked up a new bio-genetically altered soldier that can hold off even the strongest mutant, the Knight.

The time has come to begin our retribution, among you are the knights themselves! Form into teams and escort one another to the two most mutant heavy locations, the Desert Fortress and the Mysterious Island. There we will unleash the Knights' full fury upon this menace!

*** New Mode ***

Mutant Knight Mode
The mutant virus has unleashed its most formidable fighter, the Armored Mutant, to wreak havoc upon our bases. But we've got our own trick up our sleeves, we're sending in the Knights to face off against these lumbering giants. After all, blades are stronger than fists right?

All you mercenaries have to do is survive. It's that simple, the longer you live the more supplies we can give you. But every time you kill a mutant it will come back stronger. So stay alive, and the Knights will be there soon to rescue you.

Armored Mutant - The Armored Mutant can hit like a truck and can be as loud as one too.

The Armored Mutant's 'F' skill will cause a roar which will shock any nearby mercenaries into dropping their weapons, and will stun them for a few seconds too.

Knight - The cream of the crop. Forgoing the ballistic weaponry most mercenaries use, the Knight favours an alloy steel blade to slice up their opponents.

The Knight''s 'F' skill can change between 2 combat stances in battle: Basic stance and Strike stance. Both have their uses, Basic being faster but weaker, while Strike is stronger and allows the Knight to Block and dash.

Desert Fortress
A giant fortress built near the location of Operation: Sandstorm. The mutant virus has infected the area and given birth to an oddly resilient new mutation. Now the remaining guards have to hold their ground and wait for a new group of Special Operatives to arrive.

Mysterious Island
A manmade island off the coast of Dubai. Here a UN research bureau was looking into levitation technology when they were hit by the mutant virus. A team of Special Operatives were dispatched to eliminate the mutants, however a new mutation has been rumoured in the area.

*** New Mutant Character ***

Jiang Shi - The Jiang Shi was nothing more than a forgotten corpse sealed away deep inside an ancient palace. It was resurrected as a mutant during the Mutant Virus outbreak.

The Jiang Shi's special ability increases its jump height for a brief duration when activated.

*** New Weapons ***
Green isn't just a colour for mutants. Around this time of year everyone loves green, courtesy of the Irish.

AK-47-St. Patricks Day - The classic AK-47 give a four leaf clover paintjob. Some say it's blessed with the luck of the Irish.

AWM-A-JADE - An AWM-A, carved out of jade to give it a distinct high-value green hue.

- Fixed an issue where a player could appear to be part of a clan they weren't approved to.
- Fixed the text on the Crate Tycoon achievement to clarify that it is only ZP Crates that progress the achievement
- Fixed an issue where using inappropriate words in a clans description results in an unintelligible error.

* Compensation *

We are extremely thankful to all of you for your patience with the issues we experienced last week.

We will be having a multi-stage compensation for those affected by the issues last week. This started with the 300% EXP & GP and No Deaths event held on the weekend. The next stages are as follows:

1 - All players who had logged in before the issue began last week (between February 24th - March 3rd) and who log in between March 11th - 17th will receive a package of items containing:

• Voodoo Doll (7 days)
• Slaughter Ticket A (x 1)
• Bulletproof Vest (7 days)
• Bulletproof Helmet (7 days)
• Maiden Mutant Character (7 days)

Additionally, all players who had timed items and fit the above criteria will receive a 3 day extension.

2 - A login event will be held starting on the 11th. If you log in and play for 30 minutes you will qualify for the event. The rewards are as follows:

Day 1: One Luxury Royal Dragon Crate
Day 2: Three Luxury Royal Dragon Crates
Day 3: Five Luxury Royal Dragon Crates

Login and play on all 3 days and you'll also get 5 more Luxury Royal Dragon Crates

3 - A GM Massacre event will be held from March 11th - March 13th. The rules are simple; kill a GM win a Rose crate.
